Our 2025 Impact Report: Transforming Local Refugee Lives

Our 2025 Impact Report demonstrates the impact of our work and illustrates how we are transforming local lives for the better. You can read it here.

In 2025, we grew and strengthened our community through our daily provision of holistic support, educational and creative activities, advice, advocacy, and joyful outings and events in and around London. In a world that increasingly lacks in-person community spaces, we feel privileged to provide our whole community with a warm and special place. We countered the increasingly hostile rhetoric around migration through myth-busting resources and community education, and in a year where asylum decisions increased and our caseworkers worked intensively to support large numbers of community members facing homelessness, we are proud to have maintained our ability to find housing solutions for every one of them.

If you would like to support our work, we would be very grateful for one-off or monthly direct debits of any amount, which enable us to afford our essential daily running costs through predictable, consistent funding. You can donate to us through Localgiving here, or, if you’re considering joining our Welcome Circle, more details can be found here.

The following team worked collaboratively on this report: Written content by Leyla Williams (Deputy Director, West London Welcome); design by Rachel Le Mesurier (independent graphic designer); photography by Ernesto Hernandez and Farzana Wahidy; and data collection and evaluation by Tania Lewis (independent consultant), Leyla Williams and Sanne van den Bergh (Head of Strategic Development and Casework Coordination, West London Welcome).
