Betul Piyade

Trustee

Betul has been a member of our community at West London Welcome since 2021. She has supported our centre as an invaluable volunteer in various roles over the last three years, including as a cook in the kitchen and as a translator. She joined us as a Trustee in October 2023.

Originally from Turkey, Betul is a trained psychologist and now a computer programmer. She worked with a range of charities in Turkey and is passionate about supporting vulnerable people to make their voices heard. She brings with her to the Board a wide range of professional experience, as well as lived experience of the issues facing people at our centre.
